The Centenary year Swimming Carnival

And the winner is … “GROOM”.

A fantastic day was had by all down at the Milne Bay Pool last Friday. Near perfect weather for a school carnival and the water was most inviting. With so many great performances and with such a high number of participants, this year’s carnival was right up there with the best we’ve seen.

The House Points race was a close affair all day as Groom and Stephens houses swapped the lead on no fewer than a dozen times throughout the event. In the end though, it was Groom house narrowly defeating Stephens by just 5 points!

Congratulations to all who participated and a huge thanks to the P.E department for the tremendous amount of preparation and organisation of what was a very smoothly run carnival. Good luck to those students who will now move on to represent our school at the next level.
